    1. Yep, hubby managed to catch Tito in mid yawn. I’m glad the guy rescued the raccoon, but I’m also glad he didn’t get attacked for the effort.

  1. OMG!! The raccoon in a can…. I’m really glad he got his head loose, but I had a bad moment when the fuzzy lil’ guy moved toward the car. I thought for sure he was going after the person who saved him!!

Trust me… nobody wants even a cute little ‘coon like that latching onto you. I’ve got just the nasty bite mark to prove it. Not fun at all.

(Maybe I’ll go all were-coon come next full moon, Hehehe!!)

    1. I cringed a bit too. I made sure to watch the vid all the way through before I posted. I wanted to make sure it had a happy ending for the human AND the critter.

Like I said, I’m glad you’re ok. Your description of the encounter was quite funny though. 🙂

      1. It was one of those moments that seemed so scary at the time but so ludicrous once it was all over and you could reflect on it all.

Carolyn couldn’t believe that I came home from the hospital and actually slept like a baby that night. She thought for certain I’d be in one of my restless “talking in my sleep” (Or one of my “smacking her in my sleep”…) moods that occasionally happen when something really scares or worries me.

I told her I reserve that sort of paranoid fear reaction for psycho killers not fluffy critters…. Hehehe.
