Autumn in San Francisco

Twin Peaks is a great place for the tourists to look out over the city. It’s just as nice for those of us who live here. Lastech and I play “tourist” fairly often. Living in San Francisco, we tend to avoid the tourist destinations and the crowds. By doing so, we miss out on what makes this place so beautiful.

Summertime in San Francisco means a lot of fog. In the fall, the fog gives way to sunshine and bluer skies. Eventually, the rainy season will begin. We love all the different seasons and the weather that goes with them.

  1. i love the city in a bubble picture!
per our conversation regarding the fog the other day, hubby lived on 12th ave. looked to me to be a dead end street as there was a cliff that backed up and wrapped around the side of the house. he said he could stand on the sidewalk and watch the fog creep over the top of the cliff and sometimes settle but more often stay rather high and spread toward a lower area as per the laws of physics.

i’m still not sure about “above” and “below” that we discussed. was that above arguello? if so, i suppose he was below that since he was on 12th ave. he was stationed at the presidio and it was easy to get to from his home. unfortunately, the house looked rather unkempt when we saw it in 2007.
