Caturday: Furbutts, storms and a succulent exhibition

Well, summer went with a bang and now we have storms. Hooray! Ok, I’m hoping for no flooding or wind damage, but I love the storms. I’m not sure the pointy eared people are all that thrilled, but as long as the air conditioner isn’t on, they’re happy.

Anyhow, earlier in the week we made a rare trip to the city to see the succulent exhibit at the Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park. Before we get to that however, it’s time for the stars of this show to make their appearance.

The rest of the post is on the other side.

Now for the trip to see the succulent exhibit at the Conservatory of Flowers. When we got there, we were delighted to find not only the succulents, but the rest of the Conservatory was blooming as well. In addition, the Dahlia beds right outside were in full bloom. As a result, I’ve created three slideshows. One for the succulents, one for the dahlias, and one for the rest of the Conservatory. I hope you enjoy them.

The slideshow for the rest of the Conservatory is here. The photos before the seagull feet are by Lastech. The photos after the feets are by me.

I just had to add the dahlias. They were beautiful. I’m glad we saw them as today’s storm won’t be easy on them.
