I have posted my photos of the Conservatory of Flowers and now it’s time for some of Lastech’s photos. Follow along for a few really nice pics.
The Conservatory of Flowers is located in Golden Gate Park. The Conservatory was built in 1878. This beautiful Victorian greenhouse was almost lost to wind damage in the winter of 1997-1998. 100 mph (161 kph) winds blew out 30,000 of the glass panes. The Conservatory was closed until 2003, when it was fully restored and finally opened again to the public.
It is a wonderful place to visit and it never looks the same from one day to the next.
