Sunrise in Pastels on the San Francisco Peninsula

Since Lastech has been working graveyard shift, we have adjusted our sleeping habits and now we’re able to get up early and go out to see the sunrise. Not long ago, Lastech managed to take some wonderful photos.  The sky was beautiful with vivid pastel colors.

The San Francisco Peninsula provides a vast amount of places from which to watch the sun come up.  The sun makes the bay waters sparkle.

Along with the beautiful colors come the sounds of scores of birds waking up after a long night’s sleep. Their sound mingles with those of the night birds who are just settling down to rest. It’s a very peaceful time to be outdoors.

The Peninsula also provides plenty of places to go to watch sunsets. Sunsets can be difficult in the summer due to our famous fog. Once we’re mostly done with the fog, I’m sure we’ll be out taking sunset photos as well.
